Passivatech Pre-Clean 105 is a citric-acid-based, cleaning concentrate designed to remove light rust, surface contaminants, fabrication residues, and oxides before the passivation process. It effectively prepares the metal surface for uniform chromium enrichment during subsequent passivation. The formulation is safe, biodegradable, and free from nitric orhydrofluoric acid.

• Dilution: 1 part concentrate with 2.5 – 5 parts water
• Temperature: 60-80 °C
• Immersion Time: 15-30 minutes depending on contamination level
• Agitation: with or without ultrasonic
• Rinse: rinse with DI/RO water recommended.
